Last busy week for awhile!

November 10, 2008

As usual, I’ve had a very busy past week, but luckily, I think I’ve got a few slower weeks coming up. In addition to class and extracurriculars, I had the exciting obligation to VOTE! Regardless of what you thought of the results elections, you must admit that this was a monumental week in American history, and I was proud to be a part of it.

I had a heavy test load this week, but I think I made it out unscathed!

Some other things I had going on this week were seeing Freshman Follies, planning the Student Union Activity Board’s final casino of the semester, attending a regional Student Union conference in Springfield, MO, and going to a mixer of potential Camp Cowboy `09 directors! Follies was a hit, as usual, casino went well, I had a blast at the conference, and Camp Cowboy `09 is looking like it’s going to be as good, if not better, than all the past camps.

On an unfortunate note, the Cowboys dropped only their second game of the season. I still contend that the Sooners have it coming…

Oh! And I almost forgot to congratulate former OSU president, Jim Halligan, on winning his race for Oklahoma state senate! Congratulations!

GO POKES!

I VOTED!

With some fellow SUABers in Springfield!

Hi Dennis, like your blog. It's nice to hear from a student at OSU and get an inside point of view. It's been a long time since I've walked around Stillwater and the OSU Campus. I miss it a lot. Being a trainer for the cowboys maybe you can tell me, has anyone ever looked into putting our athletes on Glyconutrition and Mannatechs nutritional supplements. Mannatech has some of the best sports products. This is not a sales post I was just curious. You can go to www.teammannatech.com to see some of the athletes that are now taking them. There is no doubt that our teams could benefit from them and I would love to see the cowboys as the first team to use them. I believe they would give the pokes the edge over anyone. Go Pokes beat the buffs. Steve Sears (307) 214-0829
