Where has the semester gone?! We’re down to our last full week of regular class. Next week we get the second half of the week off for Thanksgiving, the following week is pre-finals week, then finals and then we’re done with fall ’08!

As I said last week, this past week was a much appreciated break from the craziness of the past month. It was so good to get a chance to take a deep breath and hang out with some of my friends that I hadn’t been able to hang out with in a while.

Here I am at the Colvin, kicking it with my friends from taekwondo, Jenn and Nicole! Jenn is a vet student here and my good friend for the past few years. We went to the U.S. Open for taekwondo in New Orleans together last year. Nicole is a freshman and we have done taekwondo together for about 4 years!

Another exciting thing from this past week was my Camp Cowboy executive director interview. Camp Cowboy is a freshman orientation camp held over the summer that I have been involved with for several years. I always have a blast working it, so I figured I would apply for a director spot this year. The interview went well and I’m supposed to hear back sometime this week as to whether I got one of the four spots. Wish me luck!
